Hullo! 

I'm Beth, a 30-something year old California girl, retired birthday party clown, traveler, stage and screen actor, occasional fighter, nanny, educator, dog mom, hiker, the girl asking the host at the party if they have recycling, fantasy and sci fi nerd, avid Barbara Kingsolver reader, ginger, marathoner, volunteer, and if you care to know more, I'll get the next round.

I take pride in my odd collection of jobs and lifestyles over the years, but there is something always pulling me towards those feel good places. You know, that one story you can't get out of your head? The sunlight glimmer over water? The smell of a new place you've never visited? To discover that amidst all the doom and gloom, there are rebellious attempts to hold onto the good in this world? I want to chronicle that journey.
